At Biltwood Powder Coatings, we take pride in delivering high-quality powder coating services to customers in Waynesboro, PA, and surrounding areas.

To ensure flawless results, it’s essential that all parts meet the following requirements before coating:
- Parts must be clean, free of oil, grease, or any contaminants.
- Items must be disassembled, with all bearings, seals, gaskets, bushings, and similar components removed. If disassembly or assembly is required, additional charges will apply.
- Items cannot contain bondo or filler, as these materials are not suitable for powder coating.
Chemical Pre-Treatment and Surface Preparation
To ensure the best adhesion and durability, we use chemical pre-treatment and abrasive media to prepare your parts for powder coating. While all threaded holes are carefully plugged during the process, we recommend that customers tap the holes after coating for optimal performance. Proper cleaning of all parts before assembly is the responsibility of the customer.
How Our Powder Coating Process Works
Powder coating is applied using an electrostatic or corona gun, which charges the powder particles negatively. These charged particles are sprayed onto a grounded metal object and adhere to its surface. The coated object is then heated in our state-of-the-art 40-ft oven, allowing the powder to melt into a smooth, uniform film. Once cooled, the result is a durable, hard coating that resists chipping, fading, and corrosion.

Our large-capacity oven can accommodate sizable items, including whole car frames! Whether you need powder coating for industrial equipment, automotive parts, or furniture, we’ve got you covered.

Powder Coating Warranty
We stand by the quality of our work with warranties for:
- New items: 12 months
- Used items: 6 months
Please note that BPC is not responsible for surface imperfections caused by poorly cast parts.
